CATHOLIC IDENTITY

MISSION: Hosted by St. Charles, “Catholic Identity: Our Faith”. Provides a basic understanding of our faith so that we may be transformed to live out our faith in our family, workplace and society. It will consist of 36 hours focusing on Scripture, God the Father, Jesus, Church, Mariology/Eschatology, Prayer, Liturgy, Sacraments and Morality. Classes run from late September-April. There will be a charge of $20 for the books used.

MISSION: The Catholic Men’s Fellowship of Greater Cincinnati sponsors an annual one-day Catholic Men’s conference “Answer the Call”. Dynamic speakers encourage men to direct their thoughts and energy toward fostering a stronger relationship with God, family, friends and co-workers. Saturday in March, the conference begins at 8:45am and ends at 4:00pm after Mass and includes the sacrament of reconciliation.

MISSION: Christ Renews His People is a spiritual retreat experience for men and women, which brings adult parishioners together in small groups in order to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.

MISSION: To help Catholic women open up to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment to Jesus as Lord, and to impart the Holy Spirit to one another by their love, service and sharing the good news of salvation. It provides opportunities which will foster a desire to grow in holiness. Objectives are daily personal prayer, frequent participation in the sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation, Scripture studies, love and loyalty to our Catholic Church, love and devotion to Mary, service to the church and appreciation of the vocation of Christian Women.

MISSION: This prayer group promotes a special devotion to the Blessed Mother for continued prayer to her. It meets the first Saturday of every month.
MEN’S FELLOWSHIP

MISSION: We are committed men principally Catholic, who recognize our need for God’s help. We gather in Christ’s presence in an atmosphere of trust, equality and anonymity to share personal feelings and experiences. We unconditionally accept each other and prayerfully support one another. We join in prayer, fellowship, scripture and meditation, building the church by building faith, family and friendship.
ACTIVITIES: We gather on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month at 6:30am in Room 6 in the lower level and end in time to join others at 8:00am Mass. Small fellowship groups at other times and places could be developed.
NEWMAN CATHOLIC ASSOCIATION

MISSION: Renew 2000 and Beyond is offered for 6 weeks during the Advent and Lent seasons. Small Group Faith Sharing is a powerful vehicle for adult faith strengthening.
