MISSION: Our parishes sponsor a wide range of organized athletics for boys and girls of all ages. Programs emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship and skill development.

ACTIVITIES: Volunteers are needed to coordinate and plan activities to coach and help with concessions.

CRESPI SOCIETY

MISSION: The Crespi Society of Lima Central Catholic High School is an affiliate of the Serra Club of Lima. The Crespi Society is open to any Lima Central Catholic student. Its purpose is three-fold: to pray for vocations to the priesthood, religious life, and the deaconate; to commit to change the culture of the high school to be favorable and supportive to those students who are considering or discerning a vocation; and to support the Serra Club, including meeting with the group for programs.

LIMA LIFE TEEN

MISSION: Lima Life Teen is a Catholic program designed to minister to high school students and lead them closer to Christ. The programming reaches teens on a spiritual, emotional and social level through the Mass, Life Nights, Eucharistic Adoration, Prayer, Reconciliation, and retreats. The Youth Center is located at St. Charles. Lima Life Teen begins with Mass on Sunday evenings during the school year a 6:00 p.m. Mass is open to teens, families, and friends. Following Mass, the teens in grades 9-12 from all the Lima parishes are invited to the basement of the church for dinner followed by a Life Night. A group of adult volunteers (the CORE Team), under the guidance of the Youth Minister, prepares a program on a topic relevant to teens that encourages them to put their faith into action. Adult volunteers are needed to serve on the CORE Team.

ACTIVITIES: 6:00 Life Teen Mass & Life Nights during the school year, Tuesday Night Prayer, Thursday meetings, Saturday Social Nights, retreats, service projects, pilgrimages, and summer programming.

MISSION: Provides young people with an educational program designed to teach the responsibilities of citizenship, provide growth in moral strength and character, and enhance the development of physical, mental and emotional fitness.

MISSION: One week of the summer is spent with children, preschool through 4th grade, singing, dancing and teaching the good news through meaningful learning activities based on a daily theme. Crafts, puppetry and bible skits encourage children to learn about God in a fun, exciting way. Young people and adults are needed to plan and execute this event.
