One of several hundred-retreat houses throughout the United States and Canada. The underlying purpose of each of these retreat houses is to provide a sacred space for one to get in touch with God. To go on a retreat is not to retreat from the world, but to be renewed and refreshed to better care for and be stewards of the world. One of the greatest blessings to the existence of Our Lady of Consolation Retreat House is the fact that it is located on the campus of the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation. While at the Shrine, pilgrims encounter the person of Jesus by participating in the Liturgy, receiving the sacraments, exploring devotion to Our Lady of Consolation and by enjoying private time for prayer and meditation.

Hosted programs are also very popular at OLC Retreat House. These groups engage their own directors and facilitators. In an effort to continue to welcome all retreatants and pilgrims and with deep gratitude to all those who support us, we need extra donations so we can bring the Word of Jesus to a world in need of Spiritual guidance.
We are currently updating the electrical system for your comfort and safety during your stay. We are hoping to add more air-conditioners on the 2" floor, as well as adding new outlets in the kitchen, laundry and offices. Your comfort is important to us but as you know, this is a huge expense and we can use all the help you can give us!
