Having problems with Holley carbs vacuum secondario 4160 600 Please help?
I installed this on a 76 Chevy K10 with other engine mods are 350.Only Edelbrock headers and side sees overflowing intake.the maintain fuel.I 'set the fleet on and see over.I' replaces the fuel replaced the needle pump.I assembly.Tried installeing seat and a regulator that only goes to 5.5 but can not hold enough fuel to keep even running.Took again off.Any ideas please?
This can be a simple thing that has made already, but have you looked at his fuel inlet valve to see if its open pitfalls? If you have any rubbish in their lines (or carbohydrates have run without a filter, might well have put something in the input valve is hanging open. It seems that if you can verify that its fleet is working properly, the valve is not doing its job, allowing the fuel pump still slog their carbs up if floods out. The valve should be good for something like 10.12 psi without being forced to leave his seat by fuel pressure and flooding. Also, you say you replaced the needle and seat, and I'm assuming we're not confusing the names of the pieces here. The inlet valve of us in the fuel valve large "screw" located in the fuel bowl, right where it connects the fuel line, while the needle and seat in the body measurement. If this valve is sticking its fleet are useless. Good luck! Carbohydrates are annoying problems, but look on the bright side - When you work on them, its generally a hot shop ......
