Adapter question? - NO converters!?
Why adapter have a fuse in it? Plug [I refer to an adapter (ie, in exchange for one form to another form of outlet, something that is not converting tension, * NOT * a converter (ie, something that makes the load) I use an adapter for my computer (which can be used for the good of tension and does not require voltage conversion) and has a fuse in it, for some reason my computer charger (which has a plug U.S., Im in the UK) stopped working with this adapter, it is because the fuse blew on that adapter? It seems to be able to use other adapters (for So why I ask this question lol), but it will not work on the adapter and original, why not? if I change the fuse to work again? Why make adapters need only turn the fuses if a plug and has nothing to do with the voltage conversion? thanks
In the UK, the fuse is installed on the plug, assuming you are talking 13A type, so that each cable attached to the wall is protected while the fuse is mounted on the right. In another part of the protection is not in the plug, but is in the wiring of the house, so if you connect a continent or the U.S. style there are directly connected fuses. That's why the adapter has a fuse. If you are using an adapter for shavers sale will have a lower fuse in it, so we hope to fly, sooner or later. Otherwise some proper adapters are not as good as could be, and poor connections are not unknown
